“Chicken” is a consequence of the unpredictability of NSEPS, a textile molded thermoplastic technique and material that Silo Studio developed in order to manipulate an industrial material by hand. The object, vaguely attributed with animal characteristics, is an experiment that embodies many of the techniques that were not appropriate for making furniture but were too interesting for the designers to disregard.
