“The starting point of my work was to imagine and create a weird and unusual texture that I could then apply to different archetypal, functional objects,” says Ferreol Babin. The same lamp, made of basic cylinders and rectangles, has been replicated into three equally tall objects and a shorter one. To those empty and anonymous objects, Babin applied a series of experimental textures, colors, and patterns.
