ORNO BELGRANO
The interior of this fast food restaurant was conceived around the idea of creating a visual and material separation between its two main programmatic zones: the kitchen and the dining room. On one hand, the kitchen was clad entirely in stainless steel, gastronomy’s quintessential hyper-functionalist material; on the other, the dining area was coated from floor to ceiling in blue PU, including ORNO’s signature furniture, giving the space an exceptionally singular tactile and visual effect. These two strategies envelop the entire interior, generating two adjacent abstract boxes in which the whole is prioritized over each of its individual parts.
